Jamie wanted to do a photo that would be reminiscent of the 'Tomb Raider' look. I photographed her in the studio against a white backdrop wearing this outfit (minus the sidearms) and hair style. Then, taking a photo of a cathedral, I altered it to give the dark, open, rich look from the series. Finally, some special retouching on Jamie's skin to give it a cross between the movie and the game. So...what do you do with a model (Anais) that has these fantastic butterfly wings and outfit (notice the eybrow/antenna)? Well, if you photographed a flower the year before with the intent of putting a model in it...you put the model in it. Note there are no 'borders' around the model and she casts a shadow on the flower.

Why is this photo in the 'Illusions' section? Well, to begin with it was shot at the 'Glamour Garage' shoot in...what else?...a large bus garage. The background was added in the computer. The lake and sailboats were taken at Alum Creek State Park; multi-image pan; sailboats added from other images. The pavement was drawn in the computer. .

Above Shows the versitilty Photoshop and programs like it gives us. The chair is a velvet 'shoe chair' that highly resembles a 'note'. I took the heel off in Photoshop and added some special effects. The chair works great for glamour... with the heel on, of course.
